Dr. Aghera completed medical school at the C.U. Shah Medical College, Saurashtra University in India. He trained in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, MD and completed fellowship training in Nephrology at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, NJ. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He worked as an Academic Hospitalist for 5 years at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore before joining Washington Nephrology Associates. 

His expertise include all areas of kidney disease and hypertension and enjoys teaching medical students and resident physicians. Dr. Aghera is married and has one daughter, and his favorite time pass is playing with his daughter, travelling, and watching Ravens football games!
